25th January 2022. Organisers of the multi-day festival scheduled on numerous dates from June to August 2022 for have announced their artist line-up. The acts announced include The Rocket Man Show tribute, Lost in Music tribute show, Symphonic Ibiza, Craig Charles Funk & Soul, Bohemian Disco, Abba Mania, DJ Fat Tony and Martin Kemp. New Event

24th January 2022. A new female led EDM festival will launch on 9th April 2022 in East London at multiple venues. The new festival has been developed under the concept of Celebrating the Divine Feminine by Percolate Music and is being organised by women and featuring female artists. More than 50 artists have been announced including Madam X and Club Fitness. Pre-sale tickets are available now for anyone interested.

21st January 2022. Organisers of the popular rural 2-day music festival have announced Ash as their headliner for the event scheduled for 22nd - 23rd July 2022. 20th January 2022. The 3-day festival will be held in Peckham Rye Park and is scheduled for 2nd - 4th June 2022. The line-up announced includes Sons of Kemet, Little Dragon, Nubya Garcia, Born N Bred, Dan Shake, Gilles Peterson, Awesome Tapes, Soichi Terada, Yen Sung, Bradley Zero, Artwork, Leory Burgess & Saving Coco, Marcellus Pitman, Palms Trax, Anu, Hunee, DJ Harvey plus many more. New Event

19th January 2022. The new 2-day festival in Shrewsbury Quarry called the Shropshire Oktoberfest has been announced and is scheduled for 30th September - 1st October 2022. Organisers have said that the event will feature 150 real ales, comedy, live music, amazing food, a prosecco parlour, wine bar, gin school and a gin den. The line-up is yet to be announced but early bird tickets are on sale now for anyone interested.

18th January 2022. The 4-day music and arts festival has announced a huge list of artists for the event scheduled for 21st - 24th July 2022. The headliners will be Sister Sledge, Andy C and Bill Bailey, other acts announced include Gentleman’s Dub Club, Submotion Orchestra, Craig Charles Funk and Soul Club, Ibibio Sound Machine, Flava D, Dirty Dike, Break and Calyx & TeeBee plus many more. 17th January 2022. The 2-day alternative rock festival is split on two sites over two days, 3rd June in Leeds and 4th June in Hatfield. The new 2-day event is the UK’s first LGBTQ+ electronic music & camping festival with a majority female, trans, non-binary and queer artists, it's scheduled for 28th - 29th May 2022. 12th January 2022. The new 3-day festival aims to honour Blackness through art, performance, conversation, love, and joy. Organisers have announced their line up for the mixed arts event scheduled for 28th - 30th January 2022. Performers will include poet Lemn Sissay, cabaret drag diva Le Gateau Chocolat, musician Shingai, podcaster 90’s Baby Show and a theatre production of Josephine. The festival takes place at the Lyric Theatre in Hammersmith and tickets are on sale now for anyone interested.

The quirky festival that has evolved from a garden birthday party will be running their 4th festival this year. The Belgium festival is running with the theme - Love will Reflect again in 2022! It will run over 3 weekends in July this year having been cancelled for the last 2 years. COVID-19 Updates

5th January 2022. Organisers of the Vault Fringe festival in London have announced the cancellation of the event scheduled for 25th January - 20th March 2022. In a news statement organisers cited the surge in Omicron COVID-19 cases as the reason for its cancellation for the third year in a row. The festival was to feature stand-up, theatre and cabaret, with some 2,500 performance artists and staff working on the event. Ticket holders will be contact by email with further instructions.

4th January 2022. Organisers of the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta have confirmed the dates for this year as 11th - 14th August 2022 as the popular event returns after a 2-year absence. The event regularly attracts up to 500,000 visitors and features balloon mass ascents along with evening fireworks displays and live music. The event takes place at Bristol’s Ashton Court estate.

3rd January 2022. A new 3-day music festival has been announced for Blackburn at the 15,000 capacity Ewood Park stadium scheduled for 27th - 29th May 2022. The SummerFest have released their line-up that includes The Human League, Midge Ure, Kim Wilde, Culture Club, UB40, Howard Jones, Limahl and Aswad. COVID-19 Updates

31st December 2021. The 5-day EDM music festival in Cancun has been cancelled. The festival had already been moved from April 2021 to the new dates of 13th - 17th January 2022. The organisers, LiveOne, have cited concerns over the surge in Omicron cases as a reason for the cancellation. The event was the feature Liquid Stranger, Zeds Dead, REZZ, GRiZ, Dillon Francis, Drezo, Yung Gravy, Clozee, Lucii, and Chomppa.

30th December 2021. Organisers of the 2-day music festival in New Zealand have announced on their Facebook page that some of their headliners have pulled out after either testing positive for Omicron or as a precaution. The festival started yesterday and goes on until 31st December, it was already mandated for visitors to be 100% vaccinated. The headliners that pulled out were Friction, Dimension and Lee Mvtthews.

The event has moved from its traditional September dates to spring next year.
