9th September 2022. The Dorset branch of CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) have confirmed the popular beer festival’s return which is scheduled to run on 7th - 8th October 2022. The festival takes place in the Ocean Room, Weymouth Pavilion and will feature more than 60 local ales and ciders. In addition, there will be music from local tribute bands. Tickets are still available for anyone interested.

Andy Robertson - Thursday 8 September 2022

8th September 2022. Organisers of the popular tribute music festival in Plymouth's Central Park have confirmed a return in 2023 but dates are yet to be announced. The line-up for next year initially confirms tribute acts for Dua Lipa, P!nk, Little Mix, Ed Sheeran, Harry Styles and Beyonce, Steps, RW, UB40, Elvis Presley, Queen, Dolly Parton, Rivera Dogs, Abba, Oasis, Ultra 90's, Coldplay, Tina Turner, Meat Loaf and Elton John. Dates will be announced in the next few weeks with tickets available shortly after.

Andy Robertson - Wednesday 7 September 2022

7th September 2022. Organisers of the popular beer festival have announced their final list of participating breweries for the event scheduled to run on 16th - 17th September 2022. The festival takes place at Tea Works in Birmingham and will feature 40 craft beer breweries form the UK and overseas. In addition to the beer the festival will also have DJs, chefs and other drinks producers. Tickets are still available for anyone interested.

Andy Robertson - Tuesday 6 September 2022

6th September 2022. Organisers of the popular balloon fiesta have announced their final music performance line-up for the event scheduled to run from 23rd - 25th September 2022. Artists confirmed include Sam Sax, Scouting for Girls, Craig Charles, Huge Party Band, Gabrielle, Heather Small, Boyzlife, Howard Donald DJ Set and Symphonic Ibiza. The event will also feature an ascent of 50 balloons, fireworks displays and fairground rides. Tickets are available now for anyone interested.

5th September 2022. Organisers of the EDM festival in Brighton have confirmed dates for next year scheduled to run on 28th - 30th April 2023. The event takes place in Brighton’s Waterhall Playing Fields and for 2023 there will be 6 stages per day plus festival-goers will now be able to camp on-site. This year’s festival featured Kurupt FM live, Holy Goof, Tion Wayne, Abode with Solardo and Hannah Wants. No artists have been confirmed for next year but tickets will go on sale this week for anyone interested.

2nd September 2022. Organisers of the month-long black arts festival in Liverpool have announced their full line-up for the event scheduled to run from 24th September to 29th October 2022. Artists confirmed include AfroAmpiano, Katumba, Shak Omar, AMBA, Lumenaates, Bluboy, Pari, Sarah Louise and Vivi. The event will also feature theatre, poetry, workshops as well as food and crafts. 1st September 2022. Organisers of Reading music festival have announced dates for next year with the event being scheduled to run on 25th - 27th August 2023. This year’s festival which ran over the August bank holiday weekend featured Arctic Monkeys, The 1975, Fontaines DC, Little Simz, AJ Tracey, Dave and Megan Thee Stallion. No artists have been confirmed for next year but early bird tickets went on sale yesterday (31st August 2022) for anyone interested.

31st August 2022. Organisers the punk, emo, metal and alternative rock festival have announced dates for next year with the South event in Hatfield on 27th May and the North event in Leeds scheduled for 28th May 2023. The headliners confirmed include Enter Shikari, The Offspring, Billy Talent, Bowling For Soup, Less Than Jake, Creeper, Four Year Strong, Malevolence, Holding Absence, Zebrahead and Trash Boat. Early bird tickets are on sale from Friday 2nd September 2022 for anyone interested.

30th August 2022. Organisers the popular festival on Southsea Common have announced dates for next year with the event being scheduled to run on 25th - 27th August 2023. This year’s festival which ran over the August bank holiday weekend featured Stereophonics, Paolo Nutini, Bastille, Sam Fender and Anne-Marie. No artists have been confirmed for next year but early bird tickets are on sale now for anyone interested.

29th August 2022. Organisers of the festival in Looe scheduled for 16th - 18th September 2022 have announced the cancellation of this year's event. A statement on their website said "The impact of the cost-of-living crisis, significantly increased production and infrastructure costs, lack of confidence in ticketed events and a very competitive market are just some of the main factors that compounded the very difficult decision." The event was to feature Reef, Tom Meighan and the Lightning Seeds. All ticketholders will be refunded.

26th August 2022. Organisers of the grass roots music festival in Stockton-on-Tees have announced their final line-up for the event scheduled to run on 24th September 2022. Artists confirmed include Lottery Winners, The K’s, The Bug Club, The Native, Wooze, Dead Pony, Sleep Well Beast, Art d'Ecco, Stone, Low Hummer, Priestgate, Michael Gallagher, Spangled and Tom A Smith plus many more. 25th August 2022. Organisers of the sold-out EDM festival have announced a live streaming service for the event scheduled to run on 25th - 28th August 2022. Festival organisers have partnered with Beatport to provide the live streaming service which will commence at 3pm on 26th August and include performances from Armin Van Buuren, Carl Cox, David Guetta, Patrick Topping and Tiesto plus many more. 24th August 2022. Organisers of the long running EDM Retro on the Beach festival held on Majuba Beach have announced their final edition titled ‘’The Last Dance on the Sand’’ for 1st October 2022. The beach will be redeveloped by the local council so this will be the last event at this location. Artists confirmed include Lovely Laura & Ben Santiago, Steve Edwards, Paul Taylor, K-Klass, Liam Dunning, Curtis Graham, Jordan/ Max Jones, Harls/Charlie P and Leon Roe. Andy Robertson - Tuesday 23 August 2022

23rd August 2022. South Ribble Borough Council have announced the date for next year's festival with the event being scheduled to run on 28th May 2023. The festival that took place in June this year proved popular with festival-goers and featured Tony Hadley, T'Pau, Go West, Heaven 17 and Pat Sharp. No artists have been confirmed for next year but the line-up will feature acts from the 80s and 90s.

22nd August 2022. Organisers of the successful music festival held in the city’s Town Moor have announced dates for next year with the event being scheduled to run on 29th - 30th July 2023. No artists have been confirmed yet but this year’s festival featured 70 artists including will.i.am, Black Eyed Peas, Patrick Topping, Mabel, Jonas Blue, Example and Clean Bandit. About 60,000 festival-goers attended the event in 2022.

19th August 2022. Orgainsers Wax Palace have announced that their festival will go ahead after being granted licences to proceed. The Kaleidoscope will feature dance music for ‘ravers’ and is scheduled for 2nd - 5th September 2022. The first phase line-up confirmed includes Dr Banana, Riz La Teef, Testpress, Luxe, Sophia Violet, Zefer, Papa Nugs, Lila, Napes, Hemera, Phasmid, Amy Os, Noudle, Sam Deeley, Moova, Felixcw, Thelma and Ziyn. There is a strict limit on capacity with limited tickets still available for anyone interested.

18th August 2022. Organisers of the Scottish festival have announced their final line-up for the event scheduled to run on 2nd - 4th September 2022. Artists confirmed include Del Amitri, King Creosote, Songhoy Blues, Tank and the Bangas, The Lost Words, Dallahan, Sona Jobarteh, Kefaya & Elaha Soroor, Nati Dreddd, Dreamers’ Circus, Hannah Rarity, Siobhan Miller plus many more. 17th August 2022. Organisers of the new music festival planned to take place in September 2022 have made an announcement on their website that the event will be postponed until 2023. The statement cited issues with logistical challenges, market supply and visa related complications as the reasons for postponement. They hope to transfer the line-up to next year which included Africa Express, Fabio & Grooverider and the Outlook Orchestra, The Music Man Project, Jamie Cullum, Moonchild Sanelly, Georgia and Songhoy Blues. Ticketholders will be refunded.

A statement on their Facebook page said the reasons included ‘’an under estimation of the complexity of what they were trying to achieve along with massive costs.'' The event was to feature a line-up of well-known EDM DJs. All ticketholders will be contacted soon for a full refund.

2nd August 2022. Organisers of the festival in Plymouth scheduled for 24th - 26th September 2022 have announced the cancellation of this year's event. A statement on their Facebook page explained ‘’increased resistance in an over-saturated market, lack of consumer confidence in ticketed events, cost of living rises, and a multitude of other impactful factors. In addition to our costs for infrastructure and production increasing by a crippling 30%.’’ The event was to feature Andy C, Joel Corry, Faithless and Sam Divine. Ticketholders will be refunded.
