9th August 2022. WOW Foundation (Women Of the World) have announced the dates for next year's event confirmed to run on 10th -12th March 2023. The festival will be based at London’s Southbank Centre and will feature a line-up of dozens of talks, workshops and musical performances. A variety of ticketing options are available now and in the near future for anyone interested.

8th August 2022. Organisers of the EDM music festival planned to take place in Donegal have announced their headliners for the event scheduled to run on 27th - 28th August 2022. 5th August 2022. Organisers of Margate Pride have announced their final line-up for the finale at Dreamland scheduled to run on 13th August 2022. 4th August 2022. Organisers of the festival that features film, music, comedy, literature, theatre and art have announced their headliners for the event scheduled to run on 6th - 11th September 2022. 3rd August 2022. Organisers of the festival in Norwich scheduled for 13th - 14th August 2022 have announced the cancellation of this year's event. A statement on their Facebook page said the reasons included ‘’an under estimation of the complexity of what they were trying to achieve along with massive costs.'' The event was to feature a line-up of well-known EDM DJs. All ticketholders will be contacted soon for a full refund.

2nd August 2022. Organisers of the festival in Plymouth scheduled for 24th - 26th September 2022 have announced the cancellation of this year's event. A statement on their Facebook page explained ‘’increased resistance in an over-saturated market, lack of consumer confidence in ticketed events, cost of living rises, and a multitude of other impactful factors. In addition to our costs for infrastructure and production increasing by a crippling 30%.’’ The event was to feature Andy C, Joel Corry, Faithless and Sam Divine. Ticketholders will be refunded.

1st August 2022. Organisers CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale), have announced dates for the running of the 44th Norwich beer festival and is scheduled to run on 24th - 29th October 2022. The event will feature 80 pubs in the city and will be supported by more than 50 breweries. Advance tickets go on sale today for anyone interested.

29th July 2022. The new music festival planned to take place in a Southend Airport hangar have announced additions to their line-up for the event scheduled to run on 2nd - 4th September 2022. New artists include Jamie Cullum, Moonchild Sanelly, Georgia, Songhoy Blues, Wayne Snow, Damon Albarn, Jupiter and Okwess and Jack Steadman from Bombay Bicycle Club. 26th July 2022. Organisers of the popular music festival in Sheffield have announced the release of early bird tickets for next year's event scheduled to run on 21st - 23rd July 2023. The festival this year attracted 35,000 visitors each day and featured Sam Fender, Kasabian and Madness. 25th July 2022. Organisers of the arts festival have announced their final line-up for 150 events scheduled to run on 15th October - 5th November 2022. There will be an immersive light and sound installation from artists Luxmuralis and a performance of Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar from the Globe Theatre plus a talk with Dame Joanne Lumley. 20th July 2022. IBA Events, organisers of the festival in Swansea scheduled for 6th August 2022 have announced the postponement of this year's festival until February 2023. A statement on their Facebook page said the reasons were because of ‘’a decline in ticket sales from grass roots all the way to stadium shows plus a new rise in COVID cases and the cost of living crisis.’’ The event was to feature Twin Atlantic, The Hara, The Royston Club, Rats, The Fiends and Wynt. Tickets will remain valid for the new date or refunds can be claimed in the next 14 days.

New Event

19th July 2022. A new festival has been announced for Aberdeen called Wonderland featuring a programme of music, comedy, theatre, dance and family shows, it is scheduled for 8th - 11th September 2022. Also announced was the return of True North music festival with headline artists including Mica Paris and Nitin Sawhney, other artists confirmed include Django Django, Gentle Sinners Los Bitchos and African Groove Machine. True North is scheduled to take place on 22nd - 25rth September 2022. Tickets go on sale from 22nd July 2022

18th July 2022. The gaming company announced the news on their Twitter feed that they will be collaborating with Boardmasters festival at the event scheduled for 10th - 14th August 2022. The tweet said that there will be an exclusive brand area offering games and fun challenges along with snacks for sale. There will also be a big musical surprise to be announced soon! DEAG wants to play an active role in the consolidation of the live entertainment industry in Europe and drive its growth through M&A. DEAG’s portfolio already includes the electric music festivals “Nature One,” “Mayday,” “Syndicate”, “Toxicator” and “Ruhr-in-Love” organised by their operating company I-Motion.

13th July 2022. Organisers of the festival scheduled for 23rd - 24th July 2022 have announced the postponement of this year's event until 2023. A statement on their website said the reasons were because ‘’a situation has arisen in which the stage supplier has ceased trading even though they were paid in full for our event. Whilst every effort has been made in finding another stage company to provide one, we have failed to secure one’’ The event was to feature Ash, The Charlatans and The Lottery Winners. There was no mention regarding ticketholder refunds.

12th July 2022. Organisers of the Scottish music festival at Glasgow Green have confirmed their planned dates for next year with the event being scheduled for 7th - 9th July 2023. The festival this year attracted over 50,000 festival-goers and 70 performance artists. Early bird tickets for 2023 will go on sale from Friday 15th July 2022 for anyone interested.

11th July 2022. Organisers of the event scheduled for 5th - 7th August 2022 have announced the postponement of this year's festival until May 2023. A statement on their Facebook page said the reasons for the cancellation were because ‘’we have been thwarted by local bureaucracy at this late stage.’’ The local council had refused the organiser's licence application because it was submitted too late apparently. The event was to feature Scooter, Vengaboys. Love Inc, Rozalla, Sash and tribute bands. Ticketholders can get a full refund or transfer to 2023.

8th July 2022. The festival scheduled for 10th September 2022 has been cancelled. An announcement from organisers Heavy Pop said ‘’working on condensed and accelerated delivery stretched us to our limits, this, combined with the current cost of living crisis, has brought us to realise that in order to protect the long-term sustainability of Heavy Pop as a company and our festival events we now need the summer period to reflect and reset, and get back to our more workable planning cycles for our 2023 events’’. Ticketholders can get a full refund or transfer to 2023.

7th July 2022. A new music festival is being planned to take place in a Southend Airport hangar and is scheduled for 2nd - 4th September 2022. The new event is being put together with help from the organisers of Glastonbury festival along with support from The Music Man Project, Southend Airport and the local chamber of trade. The headliners and key sponsors have already been secured but no details have been released yet or when tickets will on sale.

The statement said ‘’Due to a number of competing factors out of our control, it is with great regret that we have to cancel Live at Lydiard 2022. 30th June 2022. The event scheduled for 5th - 7th August 2022 has been cancelled according to an announcement on their website. The statement said ‘’2022 is proving an incredibly challenging year for live music and events. The industry has seen an unprecedented rise in the costs of production alongside lower than expected ticket sales due to rising costs of living’’. Organisers SMS Event Production Ltd has ceased trading. The event was to feature The Vaccines, Hot Chip, Laura Mvula and Natalie Imbruglia. Ticket holders will be contacted in due course.

29th June 2022. The music festival that last took place in 2021 will return in June next year with a new name. No further details have been released but it’s anticipated that more than 80 artists will be booked to appear at the newly independent event.
