25th July 2022. Organisers of the arts festival have announced their final line-up for 150 events scheduled to run on 15th October - 5th November 2022. There will be an immersive light and sound installation from artists Luxmuralis and a performance of Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar from the Globe Theatre plus a talk with Dame Joanne Lumley. Live music comes from Miss Kiddy and Cads, Moscow Drug Club, The Often Herd, Polly Gibbons, Red Stripe Band, Caravan and Jack Hues Quartet. Tickets are available now for anyone interested.

22nd July 2022. Organisers of the long running folk festival have announced their final line-up for the event scheduled to run on 18th - 21st August 2022. Artists include Los de Abajo, Show of Hands, Shooglenifty, N’Famady Kouyaté, Kathryn Williams, Michael McGoldrick Band, Laura Cortése & the Dance Cards, Rionnagh Connelly & Honeyfeet, Amethyst Kiah, The Magpie Arc, Gnoss and The Once. Tickets are still available for anyone interested. 

20th July 2022. IBA Events, organisers of the festival in Swansea scheduled for 6th August 2022 have announced the postponement of this year's festival until February 2023. A statement on their Facebook page said the reasons were because of ‘’a decline in ticket sales from grass roots all the way to stadium shows plus a new rise in COVID cases and the cost of living crisis.’’ The event was to feature Twin Atlantic, The Hara, The Royston Club, Rats, The Fiends and Wynt. Tickets will remain valid for the new date or refunds can be claimed in the next 14 days.

19th July 2022. A new festival has been announced for Aberdeen called Wonderland featuring a programme of music, comedy, theatre, dance and family shows, it is scheduled for 8th - 11th September 2022. Also announced was the return of True North music festival with headline artists including Mica Paris and Nitin Sawhney, other artists confirmed include Django Django, Gentle Sinners Los Bitchos and African Groove Machine. True North is scheduled to take place on 22nd - 25rth September 2022. Tickets go on sale from 22nd July 2022

18th July 2022. The gaming company announced the news on their Twitter feed that they will be collaborating with Boardmasters festival at the event scheduled for 10th - 14th August 2022. The tweet said that there will be an exclusive brand area offering games and fun challenges along with snacks for sale. There will also be a big musical surprise to be announced soon! Tickets for the Boardmasters festival are still available for anyone interested.

15th July 2022. The new music festival planned to take place in a Southend Airport hangar have announced their line-up for the event scheduled to run on 2nd - 4th September 2022. Headliners include Africa Express, Fabio & Grooverider and the Outlook Orchestra and The Music Man Project. Tickets go on sale today for anyone interested.

14th July 2022. Deutsche Entertainment Aktiengesellschaft (“DEAG”) in Germany has announced the acquisition of one of Europe's largest electro music festivals “Airbeat One”. DEAG wants to play an active role in the consolidation of the live entertainment industry in Europe and drive its growth through M&A. DEAG’s portfolio already includes the electric music festivals “Nature One,” “Mayday,” “Syndicate”, “Toxicator” and “Ruhr-in-Love” organised by their operating company I-Motion.

13th July 2022. Organisers of the festival scheduled for 23rd - 24th July 2022 have announced the postponement of this year's event until 2023. A statement on their website said the reasons were because ‘’a situation has arisen in which the stage supplier has ceased trading even though they were paid in full for our event. Whilst every effort has been made in finding another stage company to provide one, we have failed to secure one’’ The event was to feature Ash, The Charlatans and The Lottery Winners. There was no mention regarding ticketholder refunds.

12th July 2022. Organisers of the Scottish music festival at Glasgow Green have confirmed their planned dates for next year with the event being scheduled for 7th - 9th July 2023. The festival this year attracted over 50,000 festival-goers and 70 performance artists. Early bird tickets for 2023 will go on sale from Friday 15th July 2022 for anyone interested. 

11th July 2022. Organisers of the event scheduled for 5th - 7th August 2022 have announced the postponement of this year's festival until May 2023. A statement on their Facebook page said the reasons for the cancellation were because ‘’we have been thwarted by local bureaucracy at this late stage.’’ The local council had refused the organiser's licence application because it was submitted too late apparently. The event was to feature Scooter, Vengaboys. Love Inc, Rozalla, Sash and tribute bands. Ticketholders can get a full refund or transfer to 2023.

8th July 2022. The festival scheduled for 10th September 2022 has been cancelled. An announcement from organisers Heavy Pop said ‘’working on condensed and accelerated delivery stretched us to our limits, this, combined with the current cost of living crisis, has brought us to realise that in order to protect the long-term sustainability of Heavy Pop as a company and our festival events we now need the summer period to reflect and reset, and get back to our more workable planning cycles for our 2023 events’’. Ticketholders can get a full refund or transfer to 2023.

7th July 2022. A new music festival is being planned to take place in a Southend Airport hangar and is scheduled for 2nd - 4th September 2022. The new event is being put together with help from the organisers of Glastonbury festival along with support from The Music Man Project, Southend Airport and the local chamber of trade. The headliners and key sponsors have already been secured but no details have been released yet or when tickets will on sale.

6th July 2022. Organisers of the popular metal festival have announced additional acts for their event scheduled on 11th - 14th August 2022. The new additions include Ingested, I Fight Bears, Nomadus, Collected, Silen, Tribe of Ghosts, Apollyen, Karma’s Puppet, Must Kill, The Kunts, Warlock AD, Lore of the Woodman and Acid Throne. They join previously announced headliners Merciful Fate, Killing Joke, Lamb of God and Behemoth. Tickets are still available for anyone interested.

5th July 2022. The music festival scheduled for 20th August 2022 has been cancelled according to an announcement on their website. The statement said ‘’Due to a number of competing factors out of our control, it is with great regret that we have to cancel Live at Lydiard 2022. Plans are in place to return even bigger and better in 2023’’ The event was to feature Rag 'N' Bone Man, Example and Jax Jones. Ticketholders will be contacted by email regarding their refunds.

4th July 2022. Organisers of the music and entertainment festival have announced additional acts for their late-night show for the event scheduled later this month on 21st - 24th July 2022. The new additions include Shouse, Charlotte Church, 3D, Millie Cotton, Common People, Danny Howells and Darren Emerson plus many more. The new acts will perform after the current headliners that include Lewis Capaldi, Foals and Snow Patrol. Tickets are still available for anyone interested.

1st July 2022. The popular EDM music festival that had its first event in Chelmsford this year have announced a return for next year scheduled for 26th - 28th May 2023. This year’s festival included headliners like Swedish House Mafia, Eric Prydz, Tiësto, Carl Cox and The Chemical Brothers. The Creamfields brand has a presence internationally including Chile, Abu Dhabi, Ibiza, Malta, Argentina, Peru, Hong Kong and China. Early bird tickets for Creamfields South 2023 are available now for anyone interested.

30th June 2022. The event scheduled for 5th - 7th August 2022 has been cancelled according to an announcement on their website. The statement said ‘’2022 is proving an incredibly challenging year for live music and events. The industry has seen an unprecedented rise in the costs of production alongside lower than expected ticket sales due to rising costs of living’’. Organisers SMS Event Production Ltd has ceased trading. The event was to feature The Vaccines, Hot Chip, Laura Mvula and Natalie Imbruglia. Ticket holders will be contacted in due course.

29th June 2022. The music festival that last took place in 2021 will return in June next year with a new name. No further details have been released but it’s anticipated that more than 80 artists will be booked to appear at the newly independent event. Anyone interested can sign up to their newsletter for details of the new name along with dates, line-ups and tickets.

28th June 2022. Organisers of the 5-day EDM festival have announced a huge line-up of over 300 artists for the event scheduled for 6th - 10th July 2022. Headliners include NERVO, Armin van Buuren, DJ Snake, Don Diablo, Kygo, Marshmello, Tiësto, Afrojack, Timmy Trumpet, Bassjackers, Neelix, Charlotte de Witte, Claptone and Ferry Corsten. Airbeat One is one of Europe's largest festivals and will attract more than 300,000 visitors over the 5 days. Tickets are still available for anyone interested.

27th June 2022. Organisers of the 3-day hot air balloon and music festival have announced artists that will perform at the event scheduled for 23rd - 25th September 2022. The line-up will include Scouting for Girls, Craig Charles, Gabrielle, Heather Small, BoyzLife, DJ Howard Donald and Symphonic Ibiza. Tickets are available now for anyone interested. 

24th June 2022. A new music festival from street-fashion & footwear retailer size? has been announced for 20th August 2022 taking place at the O2 Victoria Warehouse. Artists confirmed include AJ Tracey, Nines, Knucks and, Comfy, Juice Menace, Miraa May, Tamera, The KTNA and Kennedy Taylor. Tickets are available now for anyone interested.

23rd June 2022. Organisers of the 3-location music festival have announced additional artists for the events scheduled between 1st - 10th July 2022. Artists added in the final wave are Wizkid at Birmingham plus A Boogie wit da Hoodie and Nines at Crystal Palace. They join previously announced A$AP Rocky, J.Cole, Dave, Cardi B, SZA, Nicki Minaj and Tyler, The Creator. Limited tickets are still available for anyone interested. 

22nd June 2022. Organisers of the 3-day multi-venue music festival have announced an additional 60 artists for the event scheduled on 29th - 31st July 2022. Artists added in the final wave include DJ Greg Wilson, Children of Zeus, Blue Lab Beats, We Are Scientists, Poppy Ajudha, Gunva B and Jalen N’Gonda plus many more. They join previously announced UB40, ASWAD, De La Soul, Girls Don’t Sync and The Zutons. Tickets are still available for selected events.

21st June 2022. The music festival scheduled for 29th - 30th July 2022 has been cancelled according to an announcement on their website. The statement said ‘’we have not yet sold enough tickets to make this year possible, we have therefore decided to delay to 3rd - 5th August 2023’’ The event was to feature Elder Island, Gentlemans Dub Club and Joy Orbison. Ticketholders will be contacted in due course.

20th June 2022. Organisers of the 3-day internationally renowned experimental music and arts festival have announced their line-up for the event scheduled for 8th - 10th July 2022. Artists announced include Divide & Dissolve, Grove, Pharaoh Overlord with Aaron Turner, Big Brave, June of 44 and Richard Dawson & Circle plus many more. Tickets are still available for anyone interested. 

17th June 2022. Organisers of the 3-day music festival have announced an additional 40 artists in their line-up for the event scheduled for 26th - 28th August 2022. Artists added in the latest wave include Ashnikko, Cassyette, Barns Courtney, Luude, and HO99O9. They join previously announced headliners Dave, Arctic Monkeys, Rage Against The Machine, Megan Thee Stallion, Bring Me The Horizon and Halsey. The event has been sold out for some time.

16th June 2022. A new 5-day comedy festival has been announced taking place at Castlefield Bowl and is scheduled for 21st - 25th September 2022. Headliners include James Acaster, Dylan Moran, Aisling Bea, Josh Widdicombe, Rose Matafeo, Phil Wang, Daniel Kitson, Milton Jones, Nish Kumar, David O’Doherty, Rosie Jones, Tim Key Fern Brady, Reginald D Hunter, Lou Sanders, Jamali Maddix and John Robins plus many more. Tickets are available now for anyone interested.

15th June 2022. Organisers of the festival now titled 'Boomtown, Chapter One, The Gathering' have added 8 brand new street venues to the event scheduled for 10th - 14th August 2022. The new street venues bring vibrancy to the city with each venue having their own sense of individuality, personality and unique vibe. The new venues include Obsidian, Botanica Zoo, The Temple of Zero, Ye Olde Cosmic Junkyard, The Pyratrix Stage, The Traumaville Cabaret and Stiletto Disco. The event is sold out with only waiting lists available.

14th June 2022. The K-Fest event will come to the Rhyl Events Arena in Wales this year with scheduled dates of 5th - 7th August 2022. The music festival will feature different 3 days dedicated to Dance, Indie and Family and the line-up announced so far includes Graeme Park, Dub Pistols, Cast, Taylor Swift, The Phonics, The Cavernites and Katy Perry.
