12th October 2022. Organisers of the long running music festival have announced their 30th Edition which will run from 19th January until 5th February 2023. The event celebrates the best in Scottish folk music and includes over 300 events across 30 stages with an annual attendance figure of over 110,000 festival-goers. Tickets for all events are on sale now for anyone interested.

11th October 2022. Organisers of Knowsley’s upcoming music festival scheduled to run from 10th to 19th November 2022 have announced their line-up. Confirmed artists include China Crisis, Craig Charles, Space, John Power, Ian Prowse, The Real Thing, DJ Les Spaine, ZuZu, Louis Berry, Natalie McCool, LA LAVANDE, Chris Kearney, Eleanor Nelly, and SILENT-K. Tickets are available now for anyone interested.

Andy Robertson - Monday 10 October 2022

10th October 2022. Organisers of the music festival in central London have added to their headline acts for the event scheduled to run in June and July 2023. New headliner Pink is confirmed for 24th and 25th June, she joins Billy Joel scheduled for 7th July and Bruce Springsteen performing on 6th and 8th July. Tickets for Pink go on sale at 10am 14th October 2022. Tickets are still available for Billy Joel but Bruce Springsteen's 2 dates are already sold out.

7th October 2022. Organisers of the music festival held in Margam have announced on their Facebook page the first wave line-up for the event scheduled for 26th - 28th May 2023. Artists confirmed include S Club, James Bay, Jake Bugg, Mel C, Kelis, Chase & Status, Diversity, Vengaboys, Lovely Laura & Ben Santiago and the Craig Charles Soul & Funk Club plus many more. The festival this year attracted 40,000 festival-goers and priority tickets go on sale at 7am BST today (7th October).

Andy Robertson - Thursday 6 October 2022

6th October 2022. Organisers of the music and theatre festival in Winchester scheduled for 9th - 13th August 2023 have announced that tickets go on sale from 7pm (BST) on 5th October. Their Twitter feed today states that the cheaper phase 1 and 2 tickets have are already sold out. The event has been named as Chapter Two: The Twin Trail and continues this year's theme, Chapter One: The Gathering which attracted 66,000 festival-goers.

Andy Robertson - Wednesday 5 October 2022

5th October 2022. Organisers of the music festival known for its line-ups of leftfield indie, post-punk, electronica, techno and jazz in London's Brockwell Park have announced on their Twitter feed their first wave line-up. Artists confirmed include Alkan, A Place To Bury Strangers, Arooj Aftab, Habibi Funk, Sunset Rollercoaster, Gilla Band, Lebanon Hanover, Osees, Ty Segall, Glass Beams, Madmadmad and Σstella perf. The festival is scheduled for 27th May 2023 and tickets are available now for anyone interested.

4th October 2022. Organisers of the music festival in Bristol's Ashton Court scheduled for 27th - 28th May 2023 have announced on their Twitter feed that their early bird tickets (which went on sale 30th September) have sold out. They have today launched their first phase tickets which are now available for anyone interested. The line-up will be announced early in 2023.

3rd October 2022. The retro music festival brand with 7 events around the UK has started announcing dates and line-ups for each location. The festivals take place between June and August with Let’s Rock Exeter scheduled to take place on the 1st July 2023. Artists confirmed include Soft Cell, Bananarama, Tony Hadley, Midge Ure, The Undertones, The Beat, The Farm, Go West, Roland Gift, Sinitta and Hue & Cry. 30th September 2022. At 10am BST on 29th September tickets went on sale for next year’s Green Man festival scheduled for 17th - 20th August 2023. 4 hours later a statement on the organiser's Twitter feed stated that the event had sold out. A further statement was also issued ‘’Demand for tickets was larger than ever before. We appreciate the ticket buying process can be frustrating & despite our best intentions the demand did sometimes get the better of the ticketing system & we apologise for this, we’re looking into ways to improve for next time.’’

29th September 2022. Organisers of the popular EDM music festival have announced details for next year with the event scheduled for 24th - 27th August 2023. This year’s festival was sold out quickly and had more than 250,000 festival-goers in attendance. Organisers expect to book about 300 leading EDM artists for 2023. Tickets will go on sale today (29th September 2022) at 9am BST.

Organisers of the country and western music festival in Welshpool have confirmed their dates for next year on a Facebook announcement with the event scheduled to run on 13th - 17th July 2023. The line-up is yet to be announced but is currently being curated and details of ticket prices and availability will follow in due course.

27th September 2022. Organisers of the family orientated story festival have announced their headliners for the event scheduled to run from 16th to 18th February 2023. Confirmed to appear are Kieran Larwood Author, Laura Ellen Anderson, Nicholas Allan and Jamie Littler. The event is aimed at children and families with a focus on books, poems, plays and songs. Activities will include live music, interactive sessions and numerous author talks. Ticket details will be announced soon.

26th September 2022. Organisers of Glastonbury Festival have announced ticket details on their website for next year’s event scheduled for 21st - 25th June 2023. Tickets plus coach travel go on sale at 6pm on 3rd November 2022, General Admission tickets go on sale at 9am on 6th November 2022. Anyone wishing to purchase tickets must pre-register on the festival's own system, registration will close at 5pm on 31st October 2022.

22nd September 2022. Organisers of the popular music festival at Bristol's Ashton Court have confirmed on a Twitter post the dates for next year which are 27th - 28th May 2023. The event attracted about 30,000 festival-goers this year. The line-up is yet to be announced but early bird tickets will go on sale at 9am (BST) on 30th September 2022.

23rd September 2022. As part of Knowsley’s celebrations as Liverpool City Region Borough of Culture, a ten-day festival has been announced and scheduled to run from 10th to 19th November 2022. The multi-venue event will feature all types of music although the line-up has yet to be announced, organisers stated that there will be something for everyone. Details of ticket availability will be released in the coming weeks.

21st September 2022. Organisers of the multi venue jazz festival in Berlin have announced their final line-up for the event scheduled to run on 3rd - 6th November 2022. More than 150 artists have been confirmed including Musho, Alexander Hawkins, Sofia Jernberg, The Hemphill Stringtet, The Brother Moves On, Sven-Åke Johansson, Blue for a Moment, KOMПOUSSULÄ‚ and Matana Roberts plus many more. 20th September 2022. An announcement has appeared on the event's website in recent days stating that the festival scheduled for 28th - 30th October 2022 has been cancelled. No reasons have been given for the cancellation for the festival that last year attracted 15,000 festival-goers. The event was to feature performances from the Wombats and Alfie Templeman. The statement added that all ticketholders will be automatically refunded.

16th September 2022. Organisers of one of Europe’s biggest comedy festivals have announced their final line-up for the event scheduled to run on 25th - 31st October 2022. Comedians confirmed include Dylan Moran, Tommy Tiernan, Daniel Sloss, Jimeoin, Deirdre O’Kane, Rich Hall, Reginald D Hunter, Ardal O’Hanlon, Emma Doran and Bobby Davro. The event features more than 100 comedians with 60 shows in 17 venues across the city. Tickets are still available for anyone interested.

Andy Robertson - Thursday 15 September 2022

15th September 2022. Just days after announcing their final line-up for the event scheduled to run on 18th September 2022 organisers say they have been forced to cancel because of the Queen’s funeral on Monday 19th September. They tried to fight the cancellation but the powers that be would not allow the festival to proceed, the same fate has affected a number of large-scale outdoor events that have also been forcibly postponed over the coming days. Tickets already purchased will remain valid for the new dates when they get announced.

Andy Robertson - Wednesday 14 September 2022

14th September 2022. Organisers of the 3-day festival have announced the postponement of the event that was scheduled to run this coming weekend 16th - 18th September 2022. The announcement follows the death of Her Majesty The Queen, who’s state funeral will be held on Monday 19th September. The event was to feature street food, bars of distinction, alfresco dining, live music and children's entertainment. A new date will be announced soon and ticket holders will be contacted in due course.

Organisers of the one-day festival celebrating Queer, Trans, Non-binary, Black, Indigenous and POC talent have announced their final line-up for the event scheduled to run on 18th September 2022 at London’s Burgess Park. The event will feature The Queer Marketplace, workshops, local food and the PXSSY PALACE soft chill hub. Performance artists include Ms Banks, Nayana Is, Ojerimie, Alewya, BBYMutha, LSDXOXO b2b TYGAPAW, Queer Bruk x Fagmuffin, Donnie Sunshine, Crystallmess, Toccororo and Pxssy Palace plus many more. 12th September 2022. The Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS) have issued guidance for event organisers: “There is no obligation to cancel or postpone events and sporting fixtures, or close entertainment venues during the National Mourning period; this is at the discretion of individual organisations. If sporting fixtures or events are planned for the day of the State Funeral (19th September), organisations may want to adjust the event timings in order to de-conflict with the timings of the funeral service and associated proceedings. As a mark of respect, and in keeping with the tone of National Mourning, organisers may wish to hold a one-minute silence and/or play the National Anthem at the start of events or sporting fixtures, and players may wish to wear black armbands.”

9th September 2022. The Dorset branch of CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) have confirmed the popular beer festival’s return which is scheduled to run on 7th - 8th October 2022. The festival takes place in the Ocean Room, Weymouth Pavilion and will feature more than 60 local ales and ciders. In addition, there will be music from local tribute bands. 8th September 2022. Organisers of the popular tribute music festival in Plymouth's Central Park have confirmed a return in 2023 but dates are yet to be announced. The line-up for next year initially confirms tribute acts for Dua Lipa, P!nk, Little Mix, Ed Sheeran, Harry Styles and Beyonce, Steps, RW, UB40, Elvis Presley, Queen, Dolly Parton, Rivera Dogs, Abba, Oasis, Ultra 90's, Coldplay, Tina Turner, Meat Loaf and Elton John. Dates will be announced in the next few weeks with tickets available shortly after.

7th September 2022. Organisers of the popular beer festival have announced their final list of participating breweries for the event scheduled to run on 16th - 17th September 2022. The festival takes place at Tea Works in Birmingham and will feature 40 craft beer breweries form the UK and overseas. In addition to the beer the festival will also have DJs, chefs and other drinks producers. Tickets are still available for anyone interested.

6th September 2022. Organisers of the popular balloon fiesta have announced their final music performance line-up for the event scheduled to run from 23rd - 25th September 2022. Artists confirmed include Sam Sax, Scouting for Girls, Craig Charles, Huge Party Band, Gabrielle, Heather Small, Boyzlife, Howard Donald DJ Set and Symphonic Ibiza. 5th September 2022. Organisers of the EDM festival in Brighton have confirmed dates for next year scheduled to run on 28th - 30th April 2023. The event takes place in Brighton’s Waterhall Playing Fields and for 2023 there will be 6 stages per day plus festival-goers will now be able to camp on-site. This year’s festival featured Kurupt FM live, Holy Goof, Tion Wayne, Abode with Solardo and Hannah Wants. Artists confirmed include AfroAmpiano, Katumba, Shak Omar, AMBA, Lumenaates, Bluboy, Pari, Sarah Louise and Vivi. The event will also feature theatre, poetry, workshops as well as food and crafts. 1st September 2022. Organisers of Reading music festival have announced dates for next year with the event being scheduled to run on 25th - 27th August 2023. This year’s festival which ran over the August bank holiday weekend featured Arctic Monkeys, The 1975, Fontaines DC, Little Simz, AJ Tracey, Dave and Megan Thee Stallion. No artists have been confirmed for next year but early bird tickets went on sale yesterday (31st August 2022) for anyone interested.
