1st February 2022. Organisers of the 1-day festival have announced their phase one line-up for the event scheduled for 31st July 2022. The line-up will include AJ Tracey, Eats Everything, Andy C, Pa Salieu, Ms Banks, Bru-C, DJ EZ, Shy FX, Kings Of The Rollers, TQD, Prospa, Alisha, Jaguar, Deekline, Reggae Roast, Nicky Blackmarket and Kenny Ken plus many more. The festival has also moved to a venue at Dunstall Park in Wolverhampton. Registration for pre-sale tickets is now open for anyone interested. 

31st January 2022. Organisers of the 1-day festival held at Sandown Airport for the first time last year returns this year and is scheduled for 30th July 2022. The line-up is yet to be announced but will feature mostly local talent. The event raises funds for The Wight Brainy Bunch, a charity that provides support for families of those affected by brain tumours. Tickets are on sale now for anyone interested. 

28th January 2022. A new EDM music festival with a focus on dance music from the ’90s and 2000’s will launch in Manchester on 21st May 2022. Organised by Dance Generation Events the new one-day festival will feature over 60 artists on 5 stages with stages hosts Clubland Events, Trance Anthems, Garage Classix, Back by Dope Demand and Hed Kandi. 27th January 2022. A new music festival will launch in Earlham Park, Norwich on 29th May 2022. Also announced was their line-up that includes The Kooks, DMA’s, Sea Girls, Dodie, Lottery Winners, Yonaka, Kawala, Crawlers, Stone, Rats and The Goa Express plus many more. Tickets go on sale Friday 28th January for anyone interested. 

26th January 2022. Organisers of the 2-day festival scheduled for 11th - 12th June 2022 have announced their line-up. The headliners announced include 50 Cent, Megan Thee Stallion, Lewis Capaldi, Bicep, Chase & Status and Tyler The Creator plus many more. Pre-sale tickets go on sale 26th January and general tickets are on sale from 27th January for anyone interested. 

25th January 2022. Organisers of the multi-day festival scheduled on numerous dates from June to August 2022 for have announced their artist line-up. The acts announced include The Rocket Man Show tribute, Lost in Music tribute show, Symphonic Ibiza, Craig Charles Funk & Soul, Bohemian Disco, Abba Mania, DJ Fat Tony and Martin Kemp. 24th January 2022. A new female led EDM festival will launch on 9th April 2022 in East London at multiple venues. The new festival has been developed under the concept of Celebrating the Divine Feminine by Percolate Music and is being organised by women and featuring female artists. More than 50 artists have been announced including Madam X and Club Fitness. Pre-sale tickets are available now for anyone interested. 

21st January 2022. Organisers of the popular rural 2-day music festival have announced Ash as their headliner for the event scheduled for 22nd - 23rd July 2022. They join other acts already announced which include Ferocious Dog, Tom McGuire, Baskery and The Native. Tickets are on sale now for anyone interested.

20th January 2022. The 3-day festival will be held in Peckham Rye Park and is scheduled for 2nd - 4th June 2022. The line-up announced includes Sons of Kemet, Little Dragon, Nubya Garcia, Born N Bred, Dan Shake, Gilles Peterson, Awesome Tapes, Soichi Terada, Yen Sung, Bradley Zero, Artwork, Leory Burgess & Saving Coco, Marcellus Pitman, Palms Trax, Anu, Hunee, DJ Harvey plus many more. Remaining tickets go on sale 28th January for anyone interested. 

19th January 2022. The new 2-day festival in Shrewsbury Quarry called the Shropshire Oktoberfest has been announced and is scheduled for 30th September - 1st October 2022. Organisers have said that the event will feature 150 real ales, comedy, live music, amazing food, a prosecco parlour, wine bar, gin school and a gin den. The line-up is yet to be announced but early bird tickets are on sale now for anyone interested. 

18th January 2022. The 4-day music and arts festival has announced a huge list of artists for the event scheduled for 21st - 24th July 2022. The headliners will be Sister Sledge, Andy C and Bill Bailey, other acts announced include Gentleman’s Dub Club, Submotion Orchestra, Craig Charles Funk and Soul Club, Ibibio Sound Machine, Flava D, Dirty Dike, Break and Calyx & TeeBee plus many more. 17th January 2022. The 2-day alternative rock festival is split on two sites over two days, 3rd June in Leeds and 4th June in Hatfield. Adding to their impressive list of headliners will be Neck Deep, also announced were Cancer Bats, The Bronx, The Summer Set, Point North, Mom Jeans and As December Falls. 14th January 2022. The new 2-day event is the UK’s first LGBTQ+ electronic music & camping festival with a majority female, trans, non-binary and queer artists, it's scheduled for 28th - 29th May 2022. The line-up announced represents a spectrum of ethnicities and includes Ellen Allien, VTSS, LSDXOXO, Rebekah, Object Blue, Jaguar, Syreeta, Hyperaktivist, Juliana Huxtable Wax Wings, allyXPRESS, Hannah Holland, Nadine Noor, Shay Malt, Angel D’Lite, S/HE, Ifeoluwa, Samantha Togni, Aisha Mirza and Boudica. 13th January 2022. The 4-day EDM festival will return this summer after 3 years of cancellations and is scheduled for 11th - 14th August 2022. The line-up is yet to be announced but expect extended DJ sets, eclectic live programming and art. Tickets go on sale from 3rd February for anyone interested. 

12th January 2022. The new 3-day festival aims to honour Blackness through art, performance, conversation, love, and joy. Organisers have announced their line up for the mixed arts event scheduled for 28th - 30th January 2022. Performers will include poet Lemn Sissay, cabaret drag diva Le Gateau Chocolat, musician Shingai, podcaster 90’s Baby Show and a theatre production of Josephine. The festival takes place at the Lyric Theatre in Hammersmith and tickets are on sale now for anyone interested. 

11th January 2022. Organisers of one of the smallest music festivals in the UK have announced that 10cc will headline at their 4 day event scheduled for 28th - 31st July 2022. The quirky festival that has evolved from a garden birthday party will be running their 4th festival this year. Their line-up also includes Skinny Lister, Tankus the Henge, Gentlemen of Few and Bamboozle. Tickets are on sale now for anyone interested. 

10th January 2022. Organisers of the EDM music festival have announced headliners and dates for this year after a 3-year absence, the event is scheduled for 7th - 10th July 2022. Artists announced are John Digweed, Tony Casanova, Frida Darko, Carbon, Lampe, Luis M, OC & Verde, Eats Everything, Pauli Pocket, Audley, Atlantik, Audio Anonymous, Beth Lydis vs Andreas Henneberg, Ben Coda, Henri Bergmann, Ipcress, James Monro, Ed Steele, Lize and Quivver. Tickets are on sale from today for anyone interested. 

7th January 2022. A new 2-day retro themed music festival has been announced by KSD Events for Brandon in Suffolk. The new festival is scheduled for 3rd - 4th September 2022 and will have tribute bands featuring The Real Thing, Pat Sharp, Dr & The Medics, Flash A Tribute To Queen, Badness plus more. Tickets are available now for anyone interested 

6th January 2022. Organisers of the biggest EDM music festival will open registration for tickets on 2nd February 2022. The Belgium festival is running with the theme - Love will Reflect again in 2022! It will run over 3 weekends in July this year having been cancelled for the last 2 years. Those already holding tickets do not need to register, the festival is so popular it often sells out as soon as tickets go on sale. 

5th January 2022. Organisers of the Vault Fringe festival in London have announced the cancellation of the event scheduled for 25th January - 20th March 2022. In a news statement organisers cited the surge in Omicron COVID-19 cases as the reason for its cancellation for the third year in a row. The festival was to feature stand-up, theatre and cabaret, with some 2,500 performance artists and staff working on the event. Ticket holders will be contact by email with further instructions.

4th January 2022. Organisers of the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta have confirmed the dates for this year as 11th - 14th August 2022 as the popular event returns after a 2-year absence. The event regularly attracts up to 500,000 visitors and features balloon mass ascents along with evening fireworks displays and live music. The event takes place at Bristol’s Ashton Court estate.

3rd January 2022. A new 3-day music festival has been announced for Blackburn at the 15,000 capacity Ewood Park stadium scheduled for 27th - 29th May 2022. The SummerFest have released their line-up that includes The Human League, Midge Ure, Kim Wilde, Culture Club, UB40, Howard Jones, Limahl and Aswad. Registration is now open for news on tickets which gone on sale from 7th January 2022.

31st December 2021. The 5-day EDM music festival in Cancun has been cancelled. The festival had already been moved from April 2021 to the new dates of 13th - 17th January 2022. The organisers, LiveOne, have cited concerns over the surge in Omicron cases as a reason for the cancellation. The event was the feature Liquid Stranger, Zeds Dead, REZZ, GRiZ, Dillon Francis, Drezo, Yung Gravy, Clozee, Lucii, and Chomppa.

30th December 2021. Organisers of the 2-day music festival in New Zealand have announced on their Facebook page that some of their headliners have pulled out after either testing positive for Omicron or as a precaution. The festival started yesterday and goes on until 31st December, it was already mandated for visitors to be 100% vaccinated. The headliners that pulled out were Friction, Dimension and Lee Mvtthews.

29th December 2021. Organisers of the 3-day arts and electronic music festival in Belgium have announced headliners for the event scheduled for 29th April - 1st May 2022. The event has moved from its traditional September dates to spring next year. Headliners announced are Akua, Black Cadmium, Clara!, DJ Fettburger, DJ Rino, DVS1, Eris Drew & Octo Octa, FAUZIA, Francesco Del Garda, GiGi FM, Kim Kenis, LSDXOXO, M.Bootyspoon, Paula Tape, Roméo Poirier, Roza Terenzi & D.Tiffany and SiSi. 28th December 2021. A new 2-day ski and snowboard festival has been announced in the Scottish ski resort of Glencoe scheduled for 27th - 28th March 2022. Called The Mighty Coe, it will feature a variety of winter sports activities plus vendors, an expo and night time entertainment. Registration is now open for updates and news on tickets and activities.

27th December 2021. Organisers of the Uddingston Music Festival part of the Bothwell Scarecrow Festival have announced headliners for the event scheduled for 7th - 15th September 2022. Headliners announced are Space, The Bluebells and Jumbo Gibson. They join James Grant, Conner Fyfe and Lights out by Nine. Tickets are on sale now for anyone interested. 

24th December 2021. Organisers of the Celtic Connections festival scheduled for 20th January - 6th February have made an announcement regarding new restrictions. New guidelines issued by the Scottish Government in light of Omicron have meant that a small number of shows for the event may be cancelled. This is an evolving situation.

23rd December 2021. Organisers of the American underground and house music festival in Arizona have announced the first wave of headliners for the event scheduled for 4th - 6th March 2022. Headliners announced are Adam Beyer, Carl Cox, Boris Brejcha, and Kaskade. Other artists announced include Dombresky b2b Noizu, Drezo, Eats Everything, Hannah Wants, Kasablanca, Kyle Watson, RebÅ«ke, Shiba San, Sohmi, Teenage Mutants, Township Rebellion, and Wax Motif. Tickets go on sale from today for anyone interested. 

22nd December 2021. A new 3-day music festival to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee is being planned for Leighton Hall in Carnforth scheduled for 3rd - 5th June 2022. The announcement on a new Facebook page gives little information although the organisers are the same people behind the Highest Point festival at Williamson Park also in Lancashire scheduled for 12th - 14th May 2022.
